It happened.

The wind is blowing hard as write this and Jake, our dog, is curling up to keep warm. We took ownership of our "green", or soon to be, house about 3 weeks ago and have been working hard to make it livable once again. I will try to catch up on some of the events that have taken place. I thought it might be fun to share the other houses we had offers on. Yep 3 houses. So I guess the fourth one is the charm. Honestly, I don't think we ever thought we would be able to find a house that represents us and feels like home like this one. The possibilities are endless and we love that.

Hello All

It is apparent to me that I need a place to share news about "Our First Place." This blog will serve that purpose and share with you our encounters are along the way. It has been a long painful journey to get to this point, but I believe we will be closing soon. It is truly funny how often we have answered: "So how is the house coming along?" Well actually it is not funny at all... So from now on I'll just refer you to the blog. lol Well not really. I am also hoping to share creative ideas about the greening, maintenance, and whatever else might happen to or at our first home. Especially fun should be all of the "improvements."
